The greatest explorer and adventurer of our times and the founder of
the Superman Museum, a man who has scaled the world's highest peaks,
plummeted the greatest depths of the seas, and penetrated the wildest
jungles on Earth.
When word leaks out in January 1952 that Andriessen is embarking on a strange secret adventure involving the accumulation of Superman trophies and memorabilia from some of the most remote spots on Earth, Superman becomes fearful that the world-famed adventurer is attempting to unravel the secret of his dual identity. In reality, however, Andriessen's only motive is the founding and dedication of a Superman Museum. "I kept my plans secret," he explains later at a press conference, "knowing that if they leaked out, others might get the trophies and charge high prices for them!"
