Wow! Terrific site! How about some history on Lois and how she (and their relationship) has changed over the years? The "Dinner Date" is a great start!:)
- Rebekah Lea, Sat, 27 Sep 1997 17:23:23 GMTThanks Rebekah! We plan to add some more about Lois as soon as we can!
Superman is the greatest hero ever. Along with Captain Picard and John Travolta, Superman reigns among my triumvirate of heroes.- Jon Polk, Fri, 26 Sep 1997 21:54:30 GMT
I come to this site just because I want to look at some American comics. Superman is my first choice, the reason is Superman is a great hero in American comics and also in the world. Glad to visit this site and sign here!Superman's coming!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your wonderful site! I, too, like everyone else, am a big fan of Superman. I love how you have presented the entire life of the greatest superhero of all time! Thanks again...;)- Mich, Wed, 17 Sep 1997 16:34:30 -0400 GMTYou're very welcome Mich - glad you like it!
I`ve been a collecter of Flash & Superman for over 11yrs now and it`s getting better with every issue. I like the changes that superman`s been going through. for the people who don`t like it accept it because we all change in some way we can`t all stay the same forever. Over the years i`ve baught many titles but Superman & Flash are my all time faverouts, and I`ll be a fan for as long as i`m around.- Robert Mc Tavish, Mon, 15 Sep 1997 01:40:25 GMTWe aren't objecting to the fact that Superman is changing per se - we're objecting to the ways in which he's changing. The current incarnation doesn't incorporate Superman's epic mythology, his unfailing optimism, nor his fundamental knowledge of right and wrong. His defining heroic virtues (determination, self-confidence, and the ability to effect change) have been completely obliterated.

I'm here looking for information on the history of Superman in the forties but you guys couldn't help me. Too Bad!- Butterfly Fenn, Sun, 7 Sep 1997 18:58:00 GMTSorry we couldn't help, Butterfly - if you manage to find more information somewhere else on the web, please let us know - we'd like to read it ourselves!
Excellent Page! As one of the biggest Superman fans in the known universe, I really appreciate a site like this, and the encyclopedia, you've done a great job with everything. Keep up the good work. Most Sincerely,
Charles- Charles, Sat, 6 Sep 1997 13:47:21 GMTThanks very much, Charles!

Though I enjoy the current Superman books, I still have a preference for the pre-1986 version. I'm glad to find a web site dedicated to the good old days. I especially enjoyed your encyclopedia -- I never could remember which color of kryptonite did what. (Wasn't there a "diamond kryptonite" introduced at one point?)- Tim DeForest, Thu, 4 Sep 1997 16:53:04 GMT
I think that Superman is the only true hero.- Jason Joseph Cramp, Wed, 3 Sep 1997 11:06:11 GMT
I think that Superman was a wonderful concept. But lately his life has really been screwed up. His marriage to Lois, power and costume changes, poor guy has got it bad. Now I usually stick to the House of Ideas myself but I had to come and say my piece. I do buy JLA and think it is a wonderful book but back to Superman. I think it would be cool if Lois died and Superman got rough and gruff for a while. Not for an extended period of time of course, but maybe for a couple of months. If it were handled correctly it could boost DC sales all the way around. I'm not saying DC sales are bad, (they're very good), but a sales boost never hurt anybody.SEE YA
- Adam Miller, Wed, 3 Sep 1997 02:20:33 GMTSo wait a minute - first you're complaining that things are too screwed up for Superman - and then you're saying that they should be worse? To each his own, but we feel that if Superman were handled correctly, he wouldn't even permit anything to get screwed up in the first place. "Rough and gruff" may be OK on a temporary basis, but he's been rough and gruff for ten years now and doesn't seem to show any sign of letting up.As far as attempts to boost sales go, look what such attempts have subjected us to in the past: The "Death of Superman", the marriage that you object to, and the power & costume changes that you criticize!
This page is spectacular. Hope to see more info as you get the chance to add it. Some space on Superman's best loved (?) villians would be nice. Say for Luthor or Brainiac. Maybe something on the Bizarro story lines. Anyway, great page!- Ben Trujillo, Tue, 2 Sep 1997 04:37:39 GMTThanks, Ben! We do hope to get to Bizarro, Brainiac, and Luthor!
I write simply to say that I exist. My father, George Lowther, wrote many of the original Superman radio programs and the first Superman novel. Though Mom is still living, there are gaps in rememberance of Dad's credits. So, if anyone has information specifically regarding the years that he wrote the radio programs, I would appreciate hearing from you.  a response- Sean Lowther, SeaLowther@aol.com, Mon, 1 Sep 1997 22:23:05 GMT
